God’s call
An engaging singer and performer, Jagee has obediently answered God’s call —touching hundreds of lives through her music ministry. Jagee is an effective teacher and role model for girls of all ages, and has a heartfelt desire to use her gifts to encourage and equip a new generation of girls to make Godly choices and to walk in the way of the Lord. Sharing real-life experiences that others can relate to, Jagee teaches how we can live in this world and live effectively for our Lord and Savior. When you experience her refreshing blend of inspiring music and uplifting stories, you will indeed be blessed.
Jagee grew up in the small west Texas town of Dumas, where her father was a farmer, and her mother a wedding photographer. In 1994, she married her answer to prayer—Larry Dan Melton Jr, who currently serves as the Children’s Pastor of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. Jagee and Larry Dan have been blessed with five children, four boys and one daughter.
As a young girl and after several years of private vocal training, Jagee and her mother enjoyed cherished moments together traveling throughout Texas and Oklahoma for competitions. Jagee served as Miss Amarillo Area in 1991 and Miss Top of Texas in 1992. A Miss Texas contestant in 1991 and 1992, Jagee received a distinguished vocal award in the 1992 competition.
Today, Jagee still enjoys touching the hearts of others through music. Having offered up her talents to the Lord, she warms hearts and imparts God’s wisdom as she performs at events throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas.
